GOF ECO · Post-layout closure
GOF maps a functional netlist patch onto the spare cells already placed in your layout, producing a metal-only ECO flow with a reportable, LEC-checked result.

GOF connects the functional and physical sides of the flow. It reads the netlist and physical data, identifies the available spare cells, maps the patch logic onto them, reports the result, and retains the ECO script for review and replay.
Load the implementation netlist, libraries, and optional LEF/DEF physical data.
Identify spare instances and map the ECO logic onto the cells available in the fixed layout.
Write the resulting netlist and ECO script, report spare usage, and perform the appropriate LEC flow.
